Some exciting things that happen in 2nd grade:
The Second grade students learn about and participate in Faith formation with focus on Penance and the Holy Eucharist. This is an exciting year for the Second grade students as they prepare to make their First Holy Communion. The Second grade students begin to learn the cursive letters. This is an exciting time as it is a feeling of "growing up". The Second grade students also, learn the multiplication tables, toward the end of the school year. The students are introduced to and learn the early multiplication tables such as: the zeros, ones, twos, fives, and tens.
