7th Grade Religion
In 7th grade Religion we review the life of Jesus and focus for a greater understanding of His teachings. Students become familiar with God’s word in the New Testament, especially the four Gospels, and see Christ as the way to the Father. We also study the Sacraments. On this journey together as members of our school community and our 7th grade family we dedicate ourselves to serve our school, family, and our global community. We participate in our school community’s Celebration of the Sacraments – Eucharist and Penance – and other religious celebrations according to the occasion. Our Retreat is a time to work on self-esteem, and peer pressure while developing a deeper relationship with God. Students participate in skits, reflections and other activities. Our 7th graders are involved in social action at school and in the community by giving of their time in service to others. We strive to communicate honestly, to promote self esteem, and most importantly, to walk humbly with God always at our sides.
