Ms. Faecke has been teaching at Saint Justin Martyr Elementary School since 2001. She taught at the middle school level for two years, and covered all the history classes for grades five through eight. In 2003, she moved to third grade. She also taught the fourth grade social studies curriculum for one year, from 2003-2004. Currently, she teaches all the third grade curriculum and team teaches music and art with the second grade teacher for grades two and three. Ms. Faecke attended California State University Fullerton where she earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a multiple subject CLAD teaching credential. She also received her master's degree in history from California State University Fullerton in 2006. Ms. Faecke serves as the social studies chairperson, red ribbon week coordinator, and grade level chairperson at Saint Justin Martyr Elementary School. She enjoys traveling, reading, and sewing (cross stitch and quilting). She also worked part-time at the local Curves for Women, and strongly believes in the benefit of fitness for all ages. Ms. Faecke enjoys incorporating music, art, and technology into the classroom and has introduced an Anaheim unit into the third grade curriculum to encourage the students to learn more about local history. She plans to continue to look for new ways to challenge her students and develop their various interests.
