Mrs. Heaton believes that all students should have the opportunity to learn in a creative, fun, and interactive environment. She likes to incorporate interesting activities and projects into her daily lessons that help promote student learning in an interactive, hands-on manner. Mrs. Heaton was educated at Cal State University, Long Beach where she received both her bachelor’s degree and multiple subject teaching credential. She is also a product of Catholic schools in that she was educated at both St. Juliana School and Rosary High School. Outside of St. Justin Martyr, Mrs. Heaton enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, reading, boating, and playing with her daughter.
